04.20.09 - Fleas

Gah! There's fleas in the hosue. I just found one on my laptop.

Know what that means?!?!
Time to give Freya a flea bath and treat the house. Bah. I really wish my dad would actually treat his cat with flea medication than assume a flea collar is doing the job because now my poor ferret keeps getting them.
I'm ready to just go out and buy his cat flea medicine.

04.08.09 - RVT

I've found my calling.
In July I'll finally be a resident of Indiana, thus I'll be able to go to school and take advantage of my benefits that I am eligible for being that my dad is a Veteran. So I've decided to attend Indiana Business College to become an RVT (Registered Veterinary Technician).
For years animals have fascinated me; I've learned to notice their body movement to see how they're feeling, I've watched their forms of communicating with eachother, and I've felt a great companionship between animals and myself, including those that aren't my own pets. Until I met my husband I never had pets in my house for more than about a week other than when I was a little girl (my parents aren't too keen on animals) but even when I had a dog tear half of my face off I still kept a spot in my heart for all animals.
Yesterday Max and I went to the vet because our three toed box turtle (Max has had her for years but the pervious owner told him that she was a tortoise, as well as a he lol) wasn't feeling well and being there just felt right. Even in the chaos of trying to get the credit card machine to work haha.
So yeah, I'm going to be a Veterinarian :)

04.04.09 - Sleep?

Well I'm still sick but I am feeling better.
I'm going to work tomorrow. I decided not to go today because last night was spent vomiting and tossing and turning. Today I've felt like I was about to barf at least 10 times BUT it's all staying down, which is a plus.
So 7am - 4pm tomorrow, sick or not :/
Other than being sick and trying to nap I put in a comment to Lipgloss and Razorblades today in hope that I'll win their Essem Design giveaway, wish me luck :)

mkay, time to sit in front of the TV and fall asleep.

04.03.09 - Illness.

I'm feeling like crap.
I was great, I slept like a rock until about 2am rolled around, then I was coughing so much that Max could hear me downstairs with the TV loud enough for me to hear from upstairs.
And I can't play with Freya because I'm not sure what I have and the last thing I want to do is give it to her.
I'm so tired I can hardly sit up. My sides ache. I can't stop this ridiculous coughing. I can't stay comfortable, either I'm too cold or I'm too hot. I have fevers that are coming and going.

Oh and I'm starting to get a headache.
I'm thinking about just watching a movie until I fall asleep - of course I have work tomorrow at 7am so I don't want to sleep too much in fear that I won't be able to sleep when I actually need to. And Nyquil might make me sleep too long. Maybe I'll go take Dayquil.

Idk but someone make me feel better!!


I hope I can go to work tomorrow. blargg.
